7 BlowsWhen my film professor asked us to list the seven events that have shaped us into the people we are today, I was excited. The assignment would be easy, as it is something I have thought a lot about in the past. However, when I came to my blank page, my mind did not have seven events to list. It had every single event and person screaming to be written down, to get their 15 minutes of fame. The way I see it, every moment and every interaction has changed and affected me in some way. However, I do have reason to believe that the following seven events are most key to me.Like many artists, I have also suffered the inability to fit in and connect with people. I tried, but I often found myself wandering off alone or refusing to socialize. This even happened in high school when I thought I had found my best friends for life.
